My first love will always be scenic as I love the outdoors and the absolute beauty of nature. I have tried to learn all aspects of photography, with so much more to learn. I have come to really enjoy searching out and taking photos of any and all still life images. In portraits I like to create poses that bring out the natural beauty of the person but more than that I like the candid shots.
Digital photography with it's instant gratification has been a big part of my learning process. In April of 2001 I bought my first digital camera, the Canon G1, up until then I had only used a 35mm point and shoot camera. I have since moved up to my first DSLR, the Canon 10D....this opened up a whole new world to me. I now see beauty not only in the large scenic views but also in the smallest of details in all things.
I hope to grow and improve to someday be a fraction as good as the wonderful photographers I've met on the sites. Thank you to all who have helped me grow...you know who you are.
